When using Parts4Drive, we collect minimal information necessary to deliver accurate automotive fitment recommendations and facilitate direct commerce with verified merchants. This includes vehicle details (Make, Model, Year, Trim, Engine, and optional VIN), search queries, and contact details provided when connecting via WhatsApp or registering as a merchant.
2. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Processing
VIN queries are processed securely to decode engine codes, chassis specifications, and exact production attributes. We do not sell or expose individual vehicle registration records to third parties.
3. Merchant & Buyer Communication
When you initiate an inquiry via WhatsApp, your selected vehicle specification and product SKU are shared directly with the verified merchant to confirm stock and facilitate fulfillment. Transactions conducted outside Parts4Drive escrow are governed by direct merchant terms.
4. Data Security & Compliance
We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/HTTPS, AES-GCM data at rest) to protect your account, order logs, and telemetry data in compliance with relevant data protection regulations (NDPR in Nigeria, Data Protection Act in Ghana).
